Story Board Components

In building Story Boards , there are a variety of components that can be included on the canvas beyond the analytic artifacts like grids, charts and other visualizations. These make Story Boards a richer, more customized data consumption experience versus the mere reporting artifacts found in Data Discovery.

These include:

• Slicers - both "local" and "global" data driven lists
• Variables - both "local" and "global" static value lists
• Assets - static images, text, web pages, and predefined metadata values. Assets can also include Infographics or dynamic, data driven images and text
